Frank Melland and Edward Cholmeleys account of their 1910 journey through Northern Rhodesia, past the Great Lakes, and to Egypt, undertaken on bicycles and on foot.

Written by Frank Hulme Melland and Edmund H. Cholmeley.

Previously held in the library of David Walter Phillipson, a British archaeologist specializing in African archaeology.


CONDITION

In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping and rubbing to the extremities. Discolouration to the spine. A couple of small marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light scattered spotting. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper and pastedown. Previous owners bookplate to front pastedown.
