Set in the 12th century in England during the Anarchy, the series of novels focus on a Welsh Benedictine monk, Cadfael, who aids the law by investigating and solving murders.

In the publishers original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Tide marks to head and tail of dust wrapper to reverse, largely not visible to the right side. Handling marks to rear wrap, which is lightly age toned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned due to paper type, but clean.
