ALAN BEAN. mode Fort Worth Independent School District “First Century Distinguished Alumni Award” personally presented to and owned by Alan Bean, the fourth person to walk on the Moon. Engraved on the plaque: “Presented to Capt. Alan L. Bean for Individual Achievements which Reflect Honor on the FWISD, March 7, 1983.”

Captain Bean attended Robert Lee Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas graduating in 1950. He was gifted this award thirty-three years later in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the school district. Acquired directly from the estate of Moonwalker Alan Bean, the engraved plate measures 10 by 6 inches, wooden plaque measures 14 by 10 inches, and in fine condition with a few scratches and dings.
