The year is 2045 AD. Several decades have passed since the human race on Earth began to emigrate to outer space.

It was the night of the debut concert of rock band "Fire Bomber", welcoming the youngest daughter of Macross 7s captain Max, Mylene. As the emergency alarm rang out,
member Basara, in his red Valkyrie, suddenly heads towards the battle airspace! Basara turns on the speakers to allies and enemies alike, and finally begins to sing.
But what is he singing for? And who is the mysterious enemy?
